The following Terms & Conditions of service shall constitute the whole of the contract between all members of the 'Christians in Touch' service.

By using the 'Christians in Touch' service, the user agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions for the duration of their use of the service. Users of this service should also know that these Terms & Conditions may change over the lifespan of 'Christians in Touch'.

1. Full-Member Information
A Full Membership lasts for a 12-month period and will need to be updated for continued use. 'Christians in Touch' reserve the right to change the FREE Membership and introduce subscription rates, services and functionality at any time now or in the future.

2. Members Cannot
Members must not post any contact details in their Personal Information page that seeks to bypass the service's method for Member communication.

All Members must agree not to use the 'Christians in Touch' service for any Business or Commercial purpose

All Members must agree not to gather information concerning other Members and then proceeding to send unsolicited email (spam)

3. Accuracy of Information
By using the 'Christians in Touch' service, you must agree to provide accurate information regarding yourself and the Churches that you have attended. Failure to comply with this, will negate your Membership instantly. Your real full-name is required to register as a member to the site with the only exception allowed where persecution might result by doing so, or where this may endanger yourself or others. Under these conditions, a member may simply use a firstname or even an alias.

4. Member Misuse and Abuse
'Christians in Touch' reserve the right to request that a Member remove or edit any form of information that they have entered on the service that seems to breach the guidelines set out in this agreement. We also reserve the right to make immediate amendments to what we may determine as inappropriate or immoral comments or remarks without the Member's prior knowledge, but will then inform them.

Members must not misuse any part of the 'Christians in Touch' service or send abusive comments / remarks in any email to another member of the service. If abuse has been reported, it can only be dealt with by cancelling Memberships to the service once proven.

5. 'Christians in Touch' Responsibility
The 'Christians in Touch' service does employ some methods of verification and checking to prevent some forms of abuse but cannot be held responsible for misuse of the service by anyone using the service. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you also accept that we cannot be responsible or liable for the truth and accuracy of information entered by Members. We cannot be held to account for people who post abusive messages or who perform other acts of misuse of the service, but do promise to deal with them when they are brought to our attention. Please report misuse immediately.

6. Technical Responsibility
'Christians in Touch' intend to run the service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, this sort of accessibility is almost impossible to achieve and so we cannot be held responsible for server downtime or other technical problems that force the service to shutdown temporarily.

'Christians in Touch' will attempt to be up and running as much as is possible but do reserve the right for whatever reason, to briefly stop the service for maintenance periods. These periods are difficult to measure but we will endeavour to perform these maintenance periods when activity volumes are low and for as short a timeframe as is possibly.

'Christians in Touch' cannot be held responsibly if the hosting company has technical difficulties but will endeavour to resolve any issues as soon as is practicable. Neither can we be held responsible if any Payment Processing element to the site, has technical problems, but will again try to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

7. Subscription Charges
'Christians in Touch' reserve the right to introduce subscription rates in the future but if introduced, will only apply after a Members FREE Membership has expired.

8. Service Removal & Refunds
If the service is removed completely by us such that it will no longer continue to operate, the then current owners of the 'Christians in Touch' service shall NOT be liable for the loss of the service or any Membership refunds should they apply.

9. Limitations
Every Member is responsible for ensuring that no material posted or uploaded to the 'Christians in Touch' service infringes the intellectual property or rights of any person, or breaks any law or is or is deemed unsuitable. 'Christians in Touch' reserve the right to be adjudicators for the suitability of suspect content.

10. Disclaimer
'Christians in Touch' can have no responsibility nor verify the accuracy of any information entered onto the site by its Members.

The use of 'Christians in Touch' is entirely at your own risk.

'Christians in Touch' reserve the right to edit any inappropriate comments that are entered by Members.

Whilst it is desirable that Members behave in accordance with the guidelines of the service, this cannot always be guaranteed and as such we cannot be held responsible for other Members actions.

If we decide at some point to use banner advertising or link to third party websites, we may not necessarily endorse any advertising or links, but will try to ensure that they are trustworthy and moral as far as we possibly can. If however, later it is established that a website link is inappropriate and deemed so by us, we will then seek to remove it from 'Christians in Touch'.

To the extent that the law permits, you acknowledge and release the directors, employees and any other persons working on behalf of the company behind the creation of 'Christians in Touch', from all liability arising out of or in connection with the 'Christians in Touch' service and the material included here by Members and third parties.

We cannot be liable to you or any third party for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, of data, income or profit, property, or business, however caused (whether arising out of any negligence or breach of this agreement or otherwise)

The maximum liability under this agreement whether arising out of negligence or otherwise, will not under any circumstances exceed any subscription charge (if applicable), paid by you the Member in any 12-month period.

For the avoidance of doubt, 'Christians in Touch' does not limit its liability for death or personal injury to the extent only that it arises as a result of the negligence of 'Christians in Touch', its affiliates, directors, employees or other representatives.

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

11. Copyright
All web design, text, graphics, templates and all underlying source code and all other material including material submitted by Members are the property of 'Christians in Touch'.com and as such, All Rights Reserved. The exception being Member Testimonies which are property of the individual, but can be used by 'Christians in Touch'.

Upon submission of information to 'Christians in Touch', you agree that you have permission to do so and that you will allow us to copy, modify, display, publicise and transfer any of the material in any format, should we so wish to.
